CHEMGUARD-RESURF is a high-quality acrylic resurfacer containing fine quartz sand and special additives, designed as an intermediate/base coat for acrylic sports flooring systems.
It fills minor surface irregularities, seals surface pores, and creates a smooth, uniform base for subsequent acrylic sports coatings. Its fine sand reinforcement provides enhanced abrasion resistance and long-term performance for outdoor sports surfaces.

Application
The asphalt or concrete substrate should be clean, dry, sound and free from dust, loose particles, grease and other contaminants that could affect adhesion.
CHEMGUARD-RESURF is applied as an intermediate/base coat, with two or more cross layers recommended to achieve a smooth and uniform surface.
Consumption: Approximately 2 kg/m² for 2 layers, depending on surface condition and absorption.
Once completely dry, approximately 5–6 hours, the final acrylic sports coating can be applied.

Substrate Requirements
Asphalt
- Minimum 30 days old
- Slope: 0.7%–1%
- Laid in one layer of 6–8 cm on a well-compacted 150 mm road base
- New road grade asphalt, minimum 60 mm in one layer with coarse aggregates up to 15 mm
Concrete
- Minimum 30 days old
- Smooth, power-trowelled surface without cracks
- Slope: 0.7%–1%
- Moisture content below 4%
- No rising humidity
- Joints every approximately 25 m² (5 × 5 m)
