Product Overview
Sport Floor System – Cushion Court is an outdoor flexible acrylic sports flooring system designed for tennis, basketball, volleyball, handball, football, and other outdoor sports courts.
The system consists of a combination of wet-pour acrylic coatings with a total average thickness of 10 mm and is identified in the document as a system by the International Tennis Federation (I.T.F.).
System Components
1. CHEMGUARD-P – Acrylic Primer
CHEMGUARD-P is used as the primer for the acrylic coating system and can be applied by airless sprayer or brush.
2. CHEMGUARD SBR – Cushion Rubber Layer
CHEMGUARD SBR is a highly flexible, pasty, wet-pour cushion rubber flooring material for sports flooring systems. It consists of recycled rubber, acrylic resins and special improvers, with SBR in 1.0–4 mm granulometry, and is used with a PU binder.
It is applied by squeegee in 2 or 3 crossing layers on dry, compact, smooth asphalt or waterproof concrete substrates.
3. CHEMGUARD-RESURF – Acrylic Resurfacer
CHEMGUARD-RESURF consists of quartz sand, acrylic resins and a unique enhancer. It is used to smooth and repair the sports flooring system and to seal substrate porosity.
It is applied after the cushion layer and is designed to provide resilience against unfavorable weather conditions such as heat waves, frost and snow.
4. CHEMRESURF FINE – Fine Cushion Layer
CHEMRESURF FINE is a highly flexible, pasty, wet-pour cushion rubber flooring material consisting of recycled rubber, acrylic resins and special improvers, with SBR powder in 0.2–0.5 mm granulometry.
It is applied by squeegee in 2 crossing layers over the CHEMGUARD SBR layer, asphalt or waterproof concrete substrates.
5. CHEMGUARD – Acrylic Sports Coating
The final sports coating is made from acrylic, elastic and non-slip materials, incorporating quartz sand, acrylic resins and a unique enhancer.
It is applied by squeegee or roller and provides the finishing surface of the multipurpose sports flooring system.

Weather & Protection
For temperatures above 40°C, the recommended application period is between 22:00 and 09:00, with the minimum bearing temperature during application and drying above 10°C.
Freshly coated surfaces should be protected from high temperatures, wind, rain and frost for at least 24 hours.
Substrate Requirements
Asphalt
The document states that asphalt is the preferred subfloor for sports flooring. It should have a 0.7–1% slope and dry for at least 30 days. The asphalt should be laid over a well-compacted 150 mm road base, with the asphalt laid in one layer of 6–8 cm.
Concrete
Concrete should be power-trowelled, smooth and crack-free, with a 0.7–1% slope and moisture content below 4% at 10 cm depth. The document specifies that concrete should be dry for at least 40 days and properly ground before application.
