CHEMGUARD-PRO is a premium single-component, water-based acrylic top coat specially formulated as the final finishing coat for acrylic sports flooring systems. It provides a durable, smooth, non-skid and non-reflective surface with excellent resistance to UV radiation, abrasion, and ponding water.
It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor sports facilities.

Application
The asphalt or concrete substrate must be clean, dry, sound, and free from dust, loose particles, grease, and other contaminants that could affect adhesion.
CHEMGUARD-PRO is applied as the final top coat using an airless sprayer, roller, brush, or squeegee. Ensure uniform application and proper coverage.
Theoretical coverage: 3.6 m²/L at 250 microns DFT, depending on surface condition.
The surface should be allowed to dry properly between coats if more than one coat is applied. The surface can be opened for foot traffic after approximately 24 hours.

Substrate Requirements
Asphalt Surface
- Minimum 30 days old
- Slope: 0.7%–1%
- Laid in one layer of 6–8 cm on a well-compacted 150 mm road base
- New road-grade asphalt: minimum 60 mm in one layer with coarse aggregates up to 15 mm
Concrete Surface
- Minimum 30 days old
- Smooth, power-trowelled surface without cracks
- Slope: 0.7%–1%
- Moisture content below 4%
- No rising humidity
- Joints approximately every 25 m² (5 × 5 m)
Important Application Remarks
- Application temperature: 10°C–40°C
- Minimum bending temperature during application and drying should be above 10°C
- During temperatures over 40°C, the ideal application time is between 22:00–09:00
- Protect freshly coated surfaces from high temperatures, wind, and rain for at least 24 hours
- In case of damage, repair and recoat the affected area.
